Gatekyp started as a spreadsheet that couldn't keep up. Today it's the collection app serious fragrance enthusiasts actually reach for — built to track what you own, understand how you wear it, and know exactly what to reach for next.

The Problem

Why we built this

Every serious collector hits the same wall: bottles scattered across a shelf, decants nobody remembers buying, and no real record of what actually gets worn versus what just looks good in a photo. Spreadsheets break down fast, and generic inventory apps have no idea what a "flanker" or a "chypre" even is.

We built Gatekyp because the fragrance community deserved software written by people who understand the craft — not a repurposed budgeting app with a perfume icon bolted on.

Connect your Google, Outlook, or Apple calendar (read-only) and Gatekyp scans upcoming events — weddings, dates, formal dinners, work meetings — to suggest a fragrance for each occasion and remind you before it starts. We only read event titles, times, and descriptions to classify the occasion type; we never edit, delete, or create anything in your calendar without you explicitly adding a wear reminder yourself, and access can be revoked at any time from Settings.
